Help Side Basketball Solutions provides college basketball programs with trustworthy and accurate in-depth player evaluations and scouting reports to support smarter recruiting decisions.
Help Side Basketball Solutions specializes in providing in-depth scouting reports built from both film study and in-person evaluations which gives coaches a complete and accurate picture of each prospect. Our evaluations go beyond basic stats and focus on other major and minor details that your program can utilize in forecasting a potential fit.
What separates us is our commitment to being on the ground where it matters most and studying players in detail. We actively attend high school games, summer leagues, showcase camps, grassroot events, and shoe circuits. With a primary focus on Illinois and the greater Midwest, our evaluations are built on firsthand exposure to not only top talent but under the radar prospects as well. A key priority is bringing visibility to players who may otherwise go unnoticed by providing deeper insights that help programs uncover hidden value. Beyond high school scouting, we prioritize attending select junior college events each year to identify overlooked and late-developing prospects who are capable of making an immediate impact.

SCOUTS
Michael Schneiderman
Michael currently provides basketball scouting services at Sports Management World Wide and for Prep Hoops Illinois. He is the founder of Help Side Basketball Solutions LLC which is a coaches only NCAA certified scouting service. He also serves as a Licensed USA Basketball Gold Coach and currently holds the role of Athletic Director at Tri-County Christian School. With a strong basketball presence in Illinois and especially across the Midwest, Michael evaluates talent at the high school, grassroots, and junior college levels bringing a comprehensive and trusted perspective to player assessment.
Michael’s background includes NJCAA Division I playing experience before a career-ending injury, followed by seven seasons of coaching across the junior high, high school, and AAU levels. He later completed SMWW’s Basketball GM & Scouting program under longtime NBA executive Rick Sund and International Renowned Scout Carl Berman gaining advanced knowledge in professional scouting practices, film evaluation through Synergy Sports Technology, statistical analysis, and front office decision-making. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of North Park University in 2014 with degrees in Business Management and Finance, Michael combines his basketball background with strong organizational and strategic skills. He is committed to helping programs make informed recruiting decisions while providing meaningful exposure and guidance to athletes. Whether in the gym evaluating prospects or supporting grassroots initiatives like his hometown’s annual 3-on-3 tournament, Michael brings a detail-oriented, relationship-driven approach to every aspect of the game.
